Republic of Indonesia (RI), or Indonesia is a country in Southeast Asia, is located on the equatorial line, and between Asia and Australia and between the Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean. Consisting of 17,508 islands, Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world. With a population of 222 million in the year 2006, Indonesia is a country with the fourth largest in the world and the countries which has the world’s largest Muslim, although not officially Islamic country. Indonesia is a form of republican government, with the House of Representatives (DPR) and the president elected directly.
